Documents for the History of Mathematics Teaching in Italy

This section of the Mathesis Subalpina website is intended to provide teachers and historians with some key documents in the history of the teaching of mathematics in Italy from Casati’s Law (1859) to Gentile’s Reform (1923), the most important legislative measures, the reports of Mathesis’ Congresses, papers concerning methodological and didactical aspects will gradually be added.
