X Congress of the Italian Society of History of Mathematics

A session of the tenth Congress of the Italian Society of History of Mathematics (Brescia, 25-27 novembre 2010) was devoted to the “History of mathematics teaching”.

Two plenary lectures:

• Hélène Gispert (Univ. Paris), Discours de mathématiciens face à l’enseignement de leur discipline en France au cours du XXe siècle
• Romano Gatto (Univ. Basilicata), L’unità d’Italia e la facoltà matematica dell’Università di Napoli

and numerous brief talks (G. Fortini, V. Gavagna, L. Giacardi, A. Janovitz, E. Luciano, F. Mercanti, M.P. Negri, M.C. Nucci, E. Patergnani, L. Pepe, E. Rinaldi, R. Scoth, V. Zudini) were given.
